Do you mean the northeast corner (home of the closed CVS), or the northwest corner (home of Starbucks)?

Either way, it looks like a cool building, and will hopefully be a good addition to the neighborhood. Is there a timeline for construction?

@Bruce–I believe these are plans for the northeast corner (where the closed CVS is).

Oops, just noticed that FourthandEye had already updated the post to reflect that. Silly RSS reader didn’t get the update!

I think CVS made an agreement years ago with Yeni Wong to return to the property after it was redeveloped. Can’t remember where I read it, but someone suggested that since Wong went it to foreclosure and lost the property that the new owners are not obligated to that agreement. Hopefully that is true.

  5. more glass boxes – uninspiring design. they should take their cues from the Skanska guys/gals just down G St who took a few chances. if there would be anyplace to try something funky, this is the corner. hate to be Debbie Downer.

on the other hand, it’ll be nice to get the last corner up and running again.

The CVS building is historic, hence, the rendering. I’m sure it will be much more than what was released, though.
