Wow, this area of the city just keeps getting better and better. People who can get in now on condos here while they are relatively affordable should, because in five years people who did will be handsomely rewarded.

I toured Results the other day. Perhaps sunday? I thought it was pretty bad. For the amount of money WSC is cheaper and just as nice.

MBD: I don’t know how much they are charging now, but I think it was a good deal for those who signed up early, in May. It was a lot cheaper than any of the other gyms in the area.

I was a member at both WSC Chinatown and Vida. WSC lacks customer service (check their reviews on Yelp) and their opening hours are not the best either, plus it’s in a basement!

Vida, on the other hand, had great hours and equipment. It is a very nice gym indeed, and I do miss it. However, I will not miss walking 10minutes to/from the gym on a cold fall/winter morning…

I went to Results this morning and while I think that it still needs some work, I am very happy to have a gym in our neighborhood!

I got a pretty good deal back in May as one of the first 100 people to sign up. Sticker shock won’t set in for me until after the introductory rates expire (2010?).

Why do some of you think the Results at CV is bad? Is it the quality of construction or the equipment, or layout of the floor? Thanks!

    A little of both, 19:31…

Maybe they have some more finishing touches to put in, but the entry way and main gym floor are just… blah. It isn’t vibrant at all and feels a bit tight spacewise. I can imagine between 7am-8am and 6-7pm will be miserable.

The equipment looks great and new, no problems there. However, I counted just 10 treadmills. Plenty of ellipticals and bikes.

The male locker room is fantastic. Very modern and clean.

I’m a bit disappointed in the results (har har) but it’s way convenient for me so I shall go.

Oh trust me – Doug knows that he’s got work to do on the CV location – especially the first floor are with the pool and ping-pong tables. He’s eager to hear what residents want out of the gym, so please pull one of the managers aside and let them know! And people, let’s remember that yesterday was a SOFT opening. Lot’s of kinks to work out – give it time. I’m just glad it’s there, that I got the introductory rate. I invested in this neighborhood, and I want to spend my $ in it to reward the business-owners who invested in it too – which will also increase my property values!!!

One correction to the hours … they open up at 5:00 am and not 5:30 am … /RobA
