‘Za by the Slice
I regret the lapse in judgement for using the term ‘Za in the post title. I must have been momentarily channeling my inner Michael Scott.
As reported by PQLiving, Pho Sai Gon Grill at 736 Sixth Street NW has been replaced with Pizza Bistro Med. This new establishment offers Pizza by the Slice from 11am-11pm Sun-Thurs and 11am-3am on Friday and Saturday. The slices are large and foldable and sell for $3.50. The interior is very small and has limited counter top space for eating in. I think they may only take cash.

I like the neon signage. Not as stylish as the Kanlaya neon but a welcome addition nonetheless. As for the Pizza, it’s not in the class of Pete’s Apizza, nor is it trying to be. The fair comparisons would be the Jumbo Slice places in the district. I would easily rate it above Jumbo Pizza on U Street which was rather disgusting the only time I tried it. Not sure how it would compare to the Jumbo Slice in Adams Morgan as I haven’t eaten there in forever.
Be the first to like.
