Is this the same project described in this 2007 posting?
Is there no way to free some of these land banked properties?
Are these projects to be forever postponed? I endlessly read that the height limits in DC need to be lifted because there is no space left to develop but walk around with my dog and see what looks like oceans of space with vacant deteriorating buildings or vacant land. I see Douglas Development and somebody else have purchased the property at 7th & H no doubt to be held indefinitely vacant and deteriorating.

@Dan – yes this is the same property as discussed in the 2007 blog pposting. There is some movement on that block and this is the first step needed to make the development happen in the very near future. We’ll have more details after tonight’s meeting. Just don’t believe everything that was in that 2007 blog posting though. 😉
