The 24th Annual Washington, DC International Film Festival is set to kickoff April 15 with eleven days of the best and most exciting in new international cinema. Attendance last year was over 25,000.
The festival offers a wide variety of films ranging such as Soundtrack for a Revolution which features performances from Wyclef, Joss Stone and John Legend, a Russian musical called Hipsters, and a Turkish take on Pandora’s Box. Several area venues are participating in the festival including Busboys & Poets at 5th & K, E Street Cinema, Goethe Institut, The National Gallery of Art, The Embassy of Canada, and the Regal Cinemas at Gallery Place.
