Ten Ten Mass Sells Out

DCMetrocentric reported yesterday that Ten Ten Mass has sold out. The 14-story 163 unit condominium located at 11th and Mass began delivering in the Spring of 2007. The building facade features a similar Esocoff design as the DuMont.

The ground floor retail space, represented by The Rappaport Companies, and remains unleased. The space spans 8,736 SF and is considered “restaurant ready” and may be subdivided.

The brochure (PDF) boasts of a great outdoor dining opportunity. I would tend to reserve the word “great” for expansive patios like at Acadiana, Buddha Bar or the 5th & K Busboys but a restaurant may be able to tuck a limited number of tables up against the building’s edge on 11th Street.

I gleened from the most Blagden Alley Naylor Court Community Association meeting minutes that a restaurant has leased the ground floor (or at least a portion of it) of 1010 Mass.

I don't know how someon could eat outdoors. 11th street next to the building is a 25-degree HILL. How does one eat on a hill?

re: eating on a hill…find some really funky outdoor furniture with stabilizers or build steppes.
